Top 10 (Future) Tallest Buildings in Australia

With more and more future architectural projects of Australia being published, we compiled the future five tallest skyscrapers on the horizon for Australia.

#1. GREEN SPINE (RESIDENTIAL TOWER), MELBOURNE, 356.2M

Green Spine is composed of 2 towers and is planning to be the tallest skyscraper in the Southern Hemisphere. The tower has been the winner of Beulah International’s global competition for a $2 billion development in Melbourne’s Southbank.

#2. MAGIC TOWER, MELBOURNE, 330M

The Magic Tower is a slim skyscraper made by Decibel Architecture in partnership with the Royal Society of Victoria. The Magic Tower will be at the northeastern corner of Hoddle Grid. Magic Tower will be the tallest tower because of its width in Melbourne.

#3. ORION TOWERS, GOLD COAST, 328M

The $1.2 billion twin-tower development in Surfers Paradise called “Orion Towers” will reach 103 storeys for a total of 328m, inching out the next entry, Melbourne’s One Queensbridge, by 5m. The building will feature the highest observation restaurant on level 101 of Australia offering viewpoints. The Orion towers are expected to be finished by 2027.

#4. ONE QUEENSBRIDGE, MELBOURNE, 323M

One Queensbridge if it proceeds, would eclipse Australia 108. It’ll Be a JV between Crown Resorts and Schiavello. The Age reported in May of last year that as part of their acceptance, a deadline for February 2019 was put to commence construction of this project.
