How it works

1. Register and redirect mail to us.

Register your details and select from our three options to:

• Store and forward your mail, or
• Open, scan and securely email your mail to you
• or a mixture of both of the above

As a member of Pass the Post you’ll receive an unique ID (UID) number.  When you forward your mail your new address will be:
Your name
UID
Pass the Post
Locked Bag 1
Keperra, QLD 4054

Then redirect your mail to us using Australia Post’s mail redirection service, by letting people know directly or by simply using our address on your correspondence.

Once you’ve registered your membership will become active once your first piece of mail arrives at our offices. Which is great news as it means you can get your mailing requirements organised ahead of time and only start paying for the service when you actually travel away from home.

2. Go travelling, relocate to Australia or work away from home.

Basically this heading says it all! You get on with your life and let us worry about getting your mail to your next destination.

3. You tell us what to do with your mail.

• Mail is received daily, where it is catalogued for your record.
• You call,email or text us and we can tell you what mail you have.
• You can get your mail booked to go out daily, twice weekly, weekly, fortnighly or monthly if you are staying somewhere for a while.
• Simply just make contact when you want to book in your post forwarding when convenient to you by fax, email, phone or text and tell us your next forwarding address
• If you have choosen Scan Mail your mail is either scanned and emailed out, forward by mail or destroy via a shredder.

That’s it, it’s that simple!

If you do not have the exact weight and dimensions Pass The Post always gets authority from you on the final cost prior to shipping.
