Travelling around Australia is not for the feint hearted. It a vast country, vast enough for all of Europe to fit inside it with room to spare! It’s not surprising it’s a continent on its own. Travelling Australia is a wonderful opportunity to see amazing sights of all descriptions, busy city life, relaxed towns and remote outposts that no one knows exists, but every inch filled with wildlife that you can’t find anywhere else in the world.
Australia travel information is not hard to come by. You can trawl the net and find lots of information about Australia, but not all in the same place. It all links back to the fact Australia is a vast place. No one knows an area better than the locals, so they write and talk about the things in their city, area or territory. They may be a little vague on things going on over the other side of their area, let alone the country, but that’s not surprising – the other side of the territory may be 1,000 miles away. It’s like living in England and knowing what the restaurants are like in Russia.
The best way to get REAL Australian Travel Information is to travel Australia. Every area may be different, but they all share the same characteristic – the friendliness of the people. It doesn’t matter where you go, people will talk and share and advise. We love to help! One traveller from England did an experiment to test the friendliness of the Australian people. She, and two friends, set out on a trip to travel right around Australia, with nothing. They got an old camper van donated, and on the day they left they surrendered their belongings, including their clothes, and left dressed only in a black bin liner (garbage bag). We featured their story on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/passthepost?ref=hl.
They used several strategies as they travelled, lots of things were donated, but they also worked as they went, often swapping labour for food or petrol. It took them 7 months, but they arrived back at their starting point, with a profit. They had no maps or guides, they just relied on the friendliness of the people – and they had a wonderful time in doing so.
Australia deserves to be travelled slowly. See it the way the locals do. Go to each town and spend some time there. Get Australia travel information from those that know – the Australians. Experience the country, not just see it. There are many companies that can help you plan the vacation of your dreams, and we can help too. We can keep your mail under control and keep you in touch wherever you are. It doesn’t matter where you decide to go we can find you.
When they say, ‘life is too short not to live a little’, it really is true. With all the modern technology that allows you to learn about what you could be experiencing, why not just go out and do it? As long as you realise – starting out in bin bags is optional.
Travelling round Australia has been made into an art by an army of Grey Nomads. Grey Nomads are the older generation that have paid off their mortgage, proud owners of several grandchildren and a very large RV. Most have downsized their home to afford a huge, new home on wheels, taken retirement and now spend their days filled with Australia travelling. Nowhere is out of bounds to the new Grey Nomad adventurers.
These ‘silver surfers’ of Australia have learnt how to travel around Australia not just for a couple of weeks, or even a couple of months, but for as long as they have the ‘Wanderlust’ for Australia travelling. Grey nomads Australia style learn how to live frugally, store food hygienically in limited circumstances, wash clothes without a machine and work their way around the country getting all the funds they need to feed their passion. They are resourceful, tenacious and very happy.
Australia travelling on this scale is not for the faint hearted. The whole country is their oyster, and they take the best advantage of it! They learn how to drive their huge RV’s economically, how to know where to fuel up for the best price and all the roads that will help your gas to mileage ratio. They make learning how to travel around Australia a science, and art and a living. They make Australia travelling look like home and a life on wheels like the life of a king. They are a very happy and satisfied group of people making the Grey Nomads Australia the best kind of retirement club you can join.
Most of this lifestyle has been afforded due to new technology. The internet and GPS systems allow for military style precision in planning a route, finding a place to park up for the night and find some entertainment or work to keep it going. Modern technology also allows them to stay in touch with home. Whether it’s the monthly retirement check going into the bank, or pictures from home, a mail forwarding company like Pass the Post, can keep all the Grey Nomads in Australia happy, and in touch, with everything that matters to them. It’s almost like they have two homes – their mobile one, and their traditional one, all on the road together.read more
With the advent of the internet holding almost un-endless data, 24 hours a day 7 days a week, the right small business have the potential to become very successful. Many of today’s most successful companies started in someone’s garage, and grew to the multinational, billion dollar enterprises that they are today. The problem in the early days is company image.
The garage may be a great, cheap work space, but when you have to give out a mailing address, your home address may not be the most secure, or the most impressive. Using a mailing service is a wise choice to make sure you have a professional business mailing address that gives the company image you want to convey. Not only will you have the right address to look credible, confident and efficient, an online mailing service will cut out most of the drudgery of handling the mail. ‘Junk’ mail can be securely shredded, current mail scanned and forwarded to you and held until told what to do with it. International mail forwarding services can do this for any amount of mail coming in from all over the world making sure you see it as soon as it comes in.
International mail forwarding services also have the ability to send mail to multiple users all over the world at the same time, so whatever its purpose, you can all look at it together. Another useful feature is being able to consolidate parcels and documents to send all over the world, so you don’t have to worry. There’s nothing like peace of mind when you have the right international mail forwarding services.
Your business deserves the efficiency and credibility of a business mailing address that delivers on quality and image. Our mailing service at Pass the Post is second to none and works hard to be the virtual assistant every business needs. We take the time to make sure the mail is where you need it, when you need it, and your customers look at what you do, not where you do it.
Why not try our services? It won’t take long to set up, and we can be offering you a secure, fast and efficient service that could help your business grow out of your garage and into the fast lane.
Up until this generation became glued to anything that is backlit, the mark of a friendship was who you sent cards and postcards to. Receiving mail from someone still leaves a warm glow today as they have taken the time to think of you, buy a card, then take the trouble to mail it. There is nothing like a mail to make you feel loved. Emails, ecards and text messages just don’t evoke the same feel. When you’re working abroad looking out for the mail always gets your heart racing for news of home and opening your email folder never quite has the same effect.
Media would have you believe that mail is a dying industry with the advent of the digital age. It has slowed down, but sending a packet of chewing gum and a bicycle for your birthday by email presents quite a challenge, and some people still value something they can hold and display. Postcard mailing services all over the world have taken on online mailing services, and are holding out quite nicely, thank you very much!
The main reason the two can work together is that they serve two different functions. A postcard mailing service sends out postcards as a physical thing, some even make an industry out of it, and an online mailing service delivers that postcard to a person wherever they are in the world. The online mailing service offers an indispensable service, like Pass the Post, where the physical mail is scanned in and sent as electronic mail to wait until it is collected by the recipient. Those working abroad, away from home for a while or slow traveling round Australia can all access their mail and never miss out on a thing.
Mail may not be around in the huge volumes it used to be, but it still exists and fills a necessity where electronic delivery fails. People, and businesses, will always send postcards. Online mailing services in Australia will only get busier with people now more mobile and eager to travel. And as people travel, they, of course, will send more postcards.
